Depending on where you live, cheese will hold up fine for a few hours outside of refrigeration. However, you may experience small textural and/or flavor changes. Because we live in Texas, we strongly recommend storing cheese in your refrigerator. Due to high temperatures in this region, cheese left out of the refrigerator for more than a few hours may develop off flavors and experience textural changes. Remember to only buy what you need for 7-10 days to ensure the highest quality.
